My name is Dr. Taranum Sultana, Ph.D. I am a Certified Ketogenic Living 101 Coach and associate researcher at the University of Regina specializing in the microbiome and its impact on human health. My research focus is on developing efficient anti-fungal agents using plant extracts, particularly essential oils.

I earned my doctorate degree in Medical Sciences from Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.

Currently, I am pursuing Advanced Ketogenic Nutrition, a part of the Ketogenic Nutrition Training Programoffered by the American Nutrition Association.

The overall objective of Advanced Ketogenic Nutrition is to train professionals on the appropriate, safe, and effective therapeutic use of ketogenic nutrition to improve clinical outcomes in a broad range of chronic metabolic conditions.

Multiple scientific studies have shown that a combination of the ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, and regular exercise (2-3 times per week) is the safest, most effective, and healthiest way to lose weight and improve overall wellbeing**.

This approach also minimizes many modern-day serious health risks, and it has the potential to even successfully reverse* a few metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes.

My primary focus is on ketogenic nutrition. However, I use a combination of ketogenic nutrition and intermittent fasting to help people in managing weight and different metabolic disorders. This approach boosts the effect of ketogenic nutrition.

In addition, I offer gut health improvement and detox programs.

My goal is to promote natural healing through cutting edge ketogenic nutrition science, and I firmly believe that ketogenic nutrition has marked healing powers.

It is important to mention that my focus is wider than helping people just shedding extra pounds. I strongly believe in a holistic health approach that emphasizes the connection of mind, body and spirit.
